Politicization Science of Ecology Case Study
Rapid economic development and its implications for the environment are the motivation for this paper. While economic sustainability is significant for , its impact on the environment raises concerns in terms of public health and the future of the planet. Humanity needs to take action if it wants to survive.
The goal of the paper is to make people realize that the problem exists, and only immediate action can help humanity avoid irreparable damage to the planet. I want readers to have the same feelings as I do so that the number of people with this concern increases. To achieve this objective, I believe that the combination of expressive and persuasive writing would be relevant.
Finding an Appropriate and Effective Genre
The purpose of the text is to persuade that with the current course of development, human beings will make the planet uninhabitable. The main message is that immediate action in how we sustain the global economy is required in order to protect the environment while preserving the same state of economic prosperity. The target audience is broad, and the most suitable genre to address this topic is tragedy.
Investigating a Topic
To investigate the topic, I used discussions and web searches. Conversations with others help identify what aspects of the subject are unknown to other people so that I can focus on these items. On the internet, I looked for statistical information about climate change and about potential outcomes if no action is undertaken.
Developing a Deep Understanding of Topic and Rhetoric Situation
Climate change is a complex topic because it affects all organisms, including microbial entities. Humans must take their response to climate change into account when (., 2019). Global warming has implications on livestock, which may indicate that humans will face poverty unless carbon footprint is reduced (., 2017). Despite such potential disastrous outcomes, it is challenging to inform populations about climate change because of the politicization of this branch of science (Van der Linden et al., 2017). The paper must be written taking this fact into consideration.
